WARDS 10 BEST INTERIORS DEBUTS IN NEW YORK
Joins a Host of other Key Industry Events at NYIAS

New York, NY – (April 8, 2019): The 2019 New York International Auto Show is pleased to welcome WardsAuto to its already impressive lineup of key industry events happening during Press Preview Week.

Wards joins returning programs such as the world’s number one automotive awards program, the World Car Awards; the Automotive Forum, co-hosted by NADA, JD Power and the New York Auto Show; Tech Talks, a series on the future of mobility and smart cities; the Hypercar CEO Summit featuring the heads of Rimac, Koenigsegg and BAC; MediaPost’s Marketing Automotive conference; the 30th annual World Traffic Safety Symposium; the finals of the National Automotive Technology Competition; and others.

WardsAuto’s Managing Editor, Tom Murphy, and Senior Editor Christie Schweinsberg will present Wards 10 Best Interiors awards at the first-ever live presentation ceremony in the program’s history.  The event will kick-off the second press day on Thursday, April 18.

Ever since 2011, WardsAuto has judged dozens of newly designed or refreshed vehicles to award those which amaze and delight with exquisite design, seamless integration of new technology, and intuitive user experience.

What:                    More than 1,000 new cars, trucks and SUVs on display at the 2019 New York International Auto Show including more than 50 never-before-seen models.

Where:                 Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 11th Avenue (btw 34th and 40th Sts.)

When:                   Press days: Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18. 

Public show: Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 28.

Who:                     The world’s auto manufacturers will display new vehicles, concept cars, one-off racecars, far-reaching autonomous cars, and electric and hybrid vehicles.

Why:                     To tell the story of the hottest trends in the auto industry and give consumers in the nation’s largest DMA an opportunity to make decisions on their next vehicle purchase.
